Generating Option Expressions for Wires and Splices

You can generate the option expressions for wires and splices either when running Composite Wiring Synthesis or by running the Generate Option Expressions dialog box after you have synthesized wiring.

During the calculation, option expressions related to the signal for the wire (or signals for a splice) are examined and collected. The collected options are used as a filter so that you can use only options found in the collected options to generate an option expression for the wire.

Procedure

Press Space Bar and enter Generate Option Expressions.
A Generate Option Expressions progress bar displays. When the generation is complete, click the Close button. You can view the option expression in the Edit Properties Dialog Boxs for the individual wires.
