Vaulting Capital Harness Designer LD Designs into the Capital

Database

You can vault (associate) an existing Capital Harness Designer LD design with a design created in Capital Harness Designer / Modular. The LD data is stored in the Capital database and is available to open in Capital Harness Designer LD or transform onto a Capital Harness Designer / Modular diagram.

Restrictions and Limitations

You cannot vault Capital Harness Designer LD designs with derivative, modular child, or merged formboard designs.

Procedure

From Capital Project Manager, expand the Designs folder and navigate to the harness design to associate with the vaulted data.
Right-click the design and select Capital Harness Designer LD > Vault, to open the Capital Harness Designer LD file browser.Note If the harness design is already associated with a vaulted Capital Harness Designer LD design, a message is displayed to warn you that the vaulted LD data will be overwritten. Click Proceed, to continue and overwrite the associated Capital Harness Designer LD design in the Capital database, or Cancel the action.
Navigate to and select the Capital Harness Designer LD design, and then click Vault.The Vault Capital Harness Designer LD file dialog box opens.
Choose Open to display the vaulted design in Capital Harness Designer LD, or Close to complete the vault and open the design later.

Results

The LD data is vaulted into the Capital database and is associated with the Capital Harness Designer / Modular design. You can now transform the LD data onto a Capital Harness Designer / Modular diagram, or open the design in Capital Harness Designer LD from Capital Project Manager.
