Properties Tab Dialog Box

To access: Click the Properties tab/button on various dialog boxes throughout the application.

Used to add, edit, and delete properties for harness designs and objects.

Objects

Field	Description
Name	A unique identifier for the property. Read-only.
Value	The value assigned to the property. Optional. Note If specifying Property Names to exclude objects from SBOMs using System Preferences, the Value must be True.
Type	The data type of the value. Mandatory. If you enter a Value that is not supported by the selected Type, the Value is displayed in red text and the OK button is dimmed. The following types are available: String - a mix of letters, number or special characters Integer - a whole number Float - a number including a decimal (floating) point To delete, select a property from the list, click the Delete button, and then click OK to confirm.
New	Click to open the New Property Dialog Box dialog box where you can choose an OTI property (if pre-defined) for the object or type in a property name.
