Actions on Plans in the Project Browser Window

Various right-click actions are available on the Plans node in the Project Browser Window. The availability and behavior of these actions can vary under different circumstances.

Action	Availability and Behavior
Open	When a basic plan is selected, this opens the Basic Plan Editor Dialog Box where you can view and define vehicle models in the basic plan. When a pro product plan is selected, this opens the Product Planner Dialog Box where you can view and edit vehicle configuration information, import standard product plan formats and to generate VVD - vehicle variant definitions and EVD - electrical variant definitions. Note If you do not have a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been activated, the Open action is unavailable for a pro product plan.
Delete	Unavailable if the selected basic or pro product plan is associated with a design. Unavailable for a pro product plan if you do not a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been activated.
Edit	Opens the Edit Plan dialog box where you can edit the plan name, description, and short description. You can also see the designs associated with the plan. Note If you do not have a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been activated, the Edit action is unavailable for a pro product plan.
Take Rates	Not available if you do not a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been enabled. If a basic plan is selected, the Take Rates action is unavailable. If a pro product plan is selected (and necessary license is available), this opens the Take Rate Editor Dialog Box where you can specify annual vehicle platform volume and specify take rates for options.
Export	Opens an Export Plan dialog box that allows you to export the selected basic or pro product plan. Note If you do not have a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been activated, the Export action is unavailable for a pro product plan.
Associate with Active Design	Associates the selected basic or pro product plan with the currently active design in the diagram window. When the active design is not associated with any plan, this action is enabled and associates the selected basic or pro product plan with that design. When the active design is associated with a basic plan already, you can select a different basic or pro product plan and choose this action. An Associate New Plan message asks whether you want to change the association. When the active design is associated with a pro product plan and you do not have a license for Capital Configuration Optimizer or it has not been activated, this action is unavailable both for basic and pro product plans. When the active design is associated with a pro product plan and you have a Capital Configuration Optimizer that is enabled, this action is enabled for other pro product plans. An Associate New Plan message asks whether you want to change the association. When the active design is associated with a pro product plan and you have a Capital Configuration Optimizer that is activated, this action is unavailable for basic plans.
