Simulating Production Technical Variations

There are various ways you can run a simulation process that will automatically show you how many variants of selected PM module(s) will be created, by a full generation, based on their content.

Note

A project preference, Max Number of combinations before failure, controls the maximum number of technical variations to be created per combination. If this maximum is exceeded, the simulation process displays a message in the Technical Variation tab. The message details the preference setting and how many variants would have been created. See “Project Preferences” in the Capital Design Tools - Common Functions User Guide to configure this preference.
