Edit Library User Permissions

There are various user permissions related to editing the component library.

Codes The ability to modify component codes (material, color and so on) in Capital Component Manager. Companies The ability to modify company information (customer, supplier and soon) in Capital Component Manager. Edit Components Customers Suppliers Delete Apply Changes Create New Import Reset Library Import Web Service Library Import Task (CLS)
Components (All library components) The ability to modify individual component types in Capital Component Manager. Expand the Components folder and select those components that you wish the user to be able to modify. If a user does not have permission to modify a component, a 'padlock' symbol is displayed in the appropriate Capital Component Manager dialog box to indicate the selected component cannot be modified, but can be viewed in read-only mode. New Copy Component Details Copy Component Revise Import Delete Apply Changes Reset Component Maintenance Edit If there is no access to particular component group, you cannot edit the tabs of that particular component group. Create ICD From Logic Design Create ICDs From Build List Create Component from Capital Device Library Import Web Service Library Import Task (CLS) Teamcenter Library Import Task (CLS) Save Design As ICD Task (Only Device Permission)
Current Components The ability to modify any component whose status is Current in Capital Component Manager. As long as other applicable permissions are enabled, components with a status other than that of Current, can still be modified, even when this permission is disabled. If a user does not have permission to modify a current component, a 'padlock' symbol is displayed in the appropriate Capital Component Manager dialog to indicate the selected component cannot be modified. Delete Components The ability to delete components in Capital Component Manager. Component Deletion Save Design As ICD Task

Import Components The ability to import components into Capital Component Manager. Import (from tools, CLS, and so on) Import Design as dataset Import Project as dataset Library Import Web Service Library Import Task (CLS) Teamcenter Library Import Task (CLS) Transferring Capital Database Manager LD Data
UI Configuration The ability to configure individual applications’ library user interfaces in Capital Component Manager. If a user does not have permission to configure a library user interface, this menu option will not be displayed. Export GUI Configuration Import GUI Configuration Configure Library GUI
