Wires

A wire is a physical connection between objects. Wires can be used to connect devices, splices and connectors, and can be routed into highways.

Wires can be added to designs directly and can also be created by converting nets to wires. See Converting Nets to Wires (Interactive Flow).

The following sections describe how to add, edit and manage wires in designs.

  • Adding / Modifying / Deleting a Wire

  • Merging Wires

  • Adding Three-Phase Wiring With Chamfered Connections

  • Adding User Defined Wire Specification and Material Codes

  • Specifying a Poke Home Wire

  • Adding a Stow Wire

  • Specifying Prototype Wire Expressions on Wires
