a Signal Name For Multiple Segments of a Signal

If the name of a signal has been set as Visible in the signal’s general properties, the name of the signal is displayed once on the diagram by default.

See Editing an Object's General Properties for more information about displaying an object's name.

You can display the name more than once along the course of a signal.

Procedure

1. Ensure that the name of the signal has been set as visible in the signal’s general properties.

2. Select one or more segments of the signal next to which you want to display the signal name and right-click one of the selected segments. Select the Add Name Text  menu option from the pop-up menu. Alternatively, select one or more segments of the signal, press Space Bar and enter Name Text.

3. The name of the signal is displayed next to each selected segment and follows the property style preferences that have been specified in Capital Project Manager.
