AutoMap to ICD

AutoMap compares the synthesized nets on the Platform Design against the nets defined in the associated ICD. When an exact match occurs, Pin Mapping is applied automatically.

AutoMap is exact-match only — it does not do fuzzy/best-effort matching. For nets that don't have an exact-name match against the ICD, use Pin Predict instead, which uses fuzzy logic to suggest the closest match.

AutoMap is typically the fastest first pass on a component whose ICD net names already align closely with the synthesized net names; run Pin Predict afterward to clean up whatever AutoMap couldn't resolve.
