Adding a Reference Style

Dimension

You can place a reference dimension against a node component, indicating its real-world distance from a target node component.

Procedure

1. Press Space Bar and enter Reference Dimension, or press Shift+D. The cursor changes to .

2. Hover the cursor over the node (the component) at which you want to add the dimension. The cursor changes to and the node is highlighted.

3. Click to select the node.

4. In the same way, select the node from which the dimension distance should be calculated.

5. Double-click to confirm the placement. The reference dimension indicator is placed at the node component. The target component, and the distance to it, are displayed.Note Dimensions are updated dynamically whenever bundle lengths between the two selected nodes are modified.
