Moving Segments

You can move segments on bundles.

Prerequisites

• A bundle that contains at least two segments is displayed.

Procedure

1. To move a segment using the Move (Center) handle:Hover over or select the segment to move.Figure 90: Move (Center) Handle

Click the Move (Center) icon and drag in a perpendicular direction to the segment.Dynamic graphics preview the new position and length of the segment and adjacent segments.

Continue to drag until you see the new position you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 91: Preview of a Moved Segment in a Full Scale Diagram To view using the Move (Center) handle:

2. To move a segment using the Move (End) handles:Hover over or select the segment to move.Figure 92: Move (End) Handles

Click the Move (End) icon, and drag in a perpendicular direction to the segment.Dynamic graphics preview the new position of the moved segment.

Continue to drag until you see the new position you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 93: Preview of the Moved Segment To view using the Move (End) handle:

3. To move and resize an arc:Hover over or select the arc.Figure 94: Move (Center) Handles on an Arc

Click the Move (Center) icon, and drag in a perpendicular or parallel direction to the segment ends.Drag perpendicular to resize the arc.

Drag parallel to reposition the arc.

Dynamic graphics preview the resized and repositioned arc.

Continue to drag until you see the size and position of the arc you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 95: Preview of the Resized and Repositioned Arc
