Insertion Point Ribbon Actions

To access: Displays on the Home ribbon in Capital Formboard Designer / Capital Formboard Designer Modular when a full scale diagram is open.

Use to add and remove insertion points and unhide sections of a harness that are hidden.

Note

You need a Capital Formboard Manager license to use this functionality. Contact your Siemens representative if you do not have one.

Objects

Object	Description
Add/update an insertion point	Click to activate the add insertion point action. Use Shift+click to activate in continuous mode. (You can also activate the action using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+/).
Unhide harness section	Click to unhide hidden sections of a harness connected to the currently selected node(s).
Remove insertion point	Click to remove an insertion point from the currently selected node(s).

Usage Notes

You can also access the actions by right-clicking a valid node and selecting from the context menu.
