Exporting and Importing

a Basic Plan

You can import and export basic plans from a project in Capital Systems Integrator. The plans are in xml file format.

Prerequisites

  • The target project (for an import) or source project (for an export) must be open.

  • The options used in the plan must be available in the target project already.

Procedure

Choose one of the following procedures.

If you want to... Do the following:
Import a basic plan Right-click the Plans node in the Project Browser Window on the upper left of the application window and choose Import, or press Space Bar, enter Import Plan, and click the Import Plan ribbon action. An Import Plan dialog box displays. Navigate to the basic plan xml file, select it, and click Import; the plan displays below the Plans node in the Project Browser Window. Note If a design with no associated plan was open and active in the diagram window, the system associates the plan with it.
Export a basic plan Right-click the plan under the Plans node in the Project Browser Window on the upper left of the application window and choose Export. Alternatively, click the plan, press Space Bar, enter Export Plan, and click the Export Plan ribbon action. An Export Plan dialog box displays. Specify the file name and directory where you want to save it, and click Export; the system saves the xml file in the specified location.
