Connector Details Dialog Box

To access: In the Design Browser (Capital Wiring Integrator) or Diagram window, right‑click the inline connector and select Inline Connector Report.

When you access this via an inline connector, it reports on all unrouted wires that could pass through an inline connector at any point along their paths. The report can be saved as a CSV file.

Note

You can also access this by clicking the Show connector detail icon () at the top right of a From or To connector cell tooltip in the Routing Assistant. When you do this, it reports on the unrouted wires present in the selected route through the inline connector.

Objects

Field Description
Modular connector structure If you selected a parent or child connector in a modular connector, the report displays the full parent and children structure on the left, and highlights the connector that you selected.
Connector The name of the inline connector.
Part number The component part number assigned to the inline connector.
Available cavities The number of cavities that are available on the inline connector.
Total cavities The total number of cavities on the inline connector.
Harness The harness on which the inline connector is located.
Cavities blocked (Displayed only for a modular connector) The number of blocked cavities.
Locations Hyperlinks to the locations in the design where the inline connector is placed. If you click a hyperlink, the Diagram window changes focus to that instance of the inline connector.
Wire specification table For each unrouted wire, this lists: Wire specification The different gauges of the unrouted wires. Available cavities The number of available cavities on the connector that support the gauge. Unrouted wires The number of unrouted wires with this gauge that could pass through the inline.
Routing Assistant Opens the Routing Assistant and runs it for the inline connector. The Routing Assistant displays the unrouted wires whose routes could be completed by adding instances of this connector to the associated Capital Logic Designer designs. The Routing Assistant also displays viable and unviable routes, details of the stages of these routes, and indicates where an instance of the inline connector needs to be added. See Using the Routing Assistant to Identify Unrouted Wires.
Save as CSV Opens a Save dialog box to export and save the report as a CSV file. In the case of a modular connector, the report contains a summary section at the top, followed by sections for the parent and children connectors.
