Defining Specification Attributes for a Wire

You can use the Edit Properties dialog box to specify the color, material, spec and CSA attributes for a wire.

Note

When you assign a library part to the conductor, the Part Selection dialog box uses these attributes to restrict the search for a library part.

Procedure

1. Right-click the wire in the Design Browser (Design tab) and choose Properties; the Edit Properties Dialog Box displays.

2. On the General tab, edit the Color, Material, Spec and CSA attributes in the Specification section.

3. Click OK to exit the Edit Properties dialog box.
