Stage 3: Selecting the Line-Style for an Insulation Layer in a

Style Set

The line-style is applied to an insulation layer using styling functionality.

Procedure

1. In Capital Harness Designer, press Space Bar and enter Styles; the Style Sets dialog box is displayed.

2. In the style set tree for the style set you are using, navigate to Insulation Layer > Shape and select the insulation layer type to which you want to assign the new line-style; the table on the right of the dialog lists the line-styles that can be used for the insulation layer type.

3. If you want to use the new line-style as the default, select it from the dropdown list in the Shape Name column for the DEFAULT row. With the example in stage 2, you would select Armoured_Tube from the dropdown list.If you want to use a predefined query to specify when the new line-style is used, click Add to create a new row, select the query in the Query Name column and select the new line-style in the Shape Name column for that row; the new line-style is used when you next apply styling. Note If you want to use a new query to specify when the line-style is used, click Edit Queries to display the Edit Query Expressions dialog box and create the new query.
