Triggers for Synchronization of Harness X2ML Data with Capital

3D Electrical Design synchronizes harness X2ML data with Capital via a dedicated REST API. Certain actions trigger a call to this API and the update of topology data in Capital when necessary.

The trigger actions are:

• You click Confirm on the Selecting Platform Harnesses dialog box.

• You select or change the electrical project from Capital that you are using.

• You start 3D Electrical Design to display the Capital navigator window in CATIA V5.

Note

To mitigate performance issues, the REST API is called only when a change to MCAD harness data is detected:

• Harness added

• Harness removed

• Harness changed (based on X2ML dataset date)
