Stage 1:

Creating the Glyphs in harnessLineStyles.xml

Each glyph is drawn the same way on a coordinate 20 x 20 point system. These coordinates are then entered in the /config/harnessLineStyles.xml file.

Procedure

  1. Print the following grid:

  2. Draw the insulation start glyph that you want to use on the printed grid.For example:

  3. Identify the coordinates of the lines that you have drawn on the grid.

  4. Repeat the previous steps for each glyph to be used.

  5. Use the coordinates from the previous steps to define the glyphs between the tag in the harnessLineStyles.xml file. Each individual glyph is defined between a tag. For example:

The order of lines for a glyph is irrelevant but it is recommended to enter them in the sequence used for drawing them by hand.
