Displaying

the Name of an Overbraid or Multicore

To display the name of an overbraid or overbraid on a diagram, edit the general properties for an indicator on an existing overbraid or multicore, and then make the name visible.

See Editing an Object's General Properties. This displays the name next to that indicator only.

Notes

  • If an overbraid or multicore has a Capital Component Manager part number assigned to it, a tick appears next to its symbol in the Browser Window.

  • If the conductors in an overbraid or multicore connect to different pin lists, you can specify whether the individual indicators on the overbraid or multicore stretch across all of the conductors, or whether they are split so that there is part of the indicator on each of the conductors. See Splitting Multicore and Overbraid Indicators.
