Editing an Insulation Layer

There are multiple ways you can edit an insulation layer on a harness design.

Restrictions and Limitations

• If you make any changes to a layer that was initially added using an insulation Code, a message is displayed to warn you that the associated code will be removed.

Procedure

1. Either:Right-click an insulation layer, either on the diagram or in the Harness Design Browser, and select Edit Insulation Layer Details.

Click within the Attributes field for the relevant layer in either the Edit Insulation Run Dialog Box or the Reorder/Edit Insulation Layers Dialog Box.

The Reorder/Edit Insulation Layers dialog box is displayed.

2. Make any changes required to the insulation layer.Note You can manually override the calculated length of any tube by using the Override Tube Length settings on the Add or Edit Insulation Layer Dialog Box.

3. Click OK.
