Creating Library Data

You can configure the library data in the routing project using Capital Cable Router Admin to ensure that the design data is synchronized with the designs in NX and the Capital software.

Procedure

Determine the action you want to take:

If you want to…	Do the following…
Configure library data types.	Double-click Development projects. Select the required project. Double-click Library Data to display the following data types that you can configure: Cable Data. Equipment Data. General Data. See Project Codes for descriptions of the project codes. Project Setup. See Project Defaults Window for descriptions of the project preferences. Select a data type and then choose a code or option to configure. The window is displayed. Specify values in the table rows and fields. Click the Save button () to save the values to the routing project. Click the Close button () to close the window.
Copy library data from an existing project.	Double-click General administration > Project setup > Copy Project Data. The Copy Project Data window is displayed. Click the Source Project dropdown list and select the project to copy library data from. Click the Destination Project dropdown list and select the project to copy library data to. Select the data types to copy. (Optional) Select the Select All check box to copy all the data types. Click Copy to copy the selected data types to the destination project. The system displays the quantity of records copied for each data type. Click the Save button () to save the library data to the routing project. Click the Close button () to close the Copy Project Data window.
