Setting Constraints

for an Entire Topology Diagram

You can set constraints for an entire topology diagram. Those constraints will be inherited by the appropriate objects on the diagram.

Note

You can bundle constraints into rules that you can set on objects. See Rules and Constraints to create rules.

Procedure

  1. From the Design Browser (Capital Wiring Integrator), click the Set Rules and Constraints button ().
    The Edit Properties: Diagram

Dialog Box is displayed.

  1. Add any rules and Constraints (Capital Wiring Integrator) to the Object Rule Rule Contents window and click OK.

Results

  • The constraints are inherited by objects on the diagram.

  • The constraints are applied when actions are performed on the topology diagram.
