Straightening an Arc Segment
When laying out a harness, you can use click and drag bundle manipulation functionality to automatically straighten arc segments.

Prerequisites
- The functionality is applicable to both full scale and non-full scale diagrams except where noted.
This video demonstrates the functionality.
Procedure
- Click and hold the left mouse button near an end of the bundle segment. Note, in Figure 118, the selected segment is adjacent to an arc segment.Note For non-full scale diagrams you must use Ctrl+click.

Start to drag the mouse, the segment pivots on the furthest end of the arc segment. To aid re-positioning, two axis lines display as in Figure 119 and Figure 120. The vertical orange dotted line indicates the center of the arc and its radius. The horizontal green dotted line is the axis of the adjacent segment.Figure 119: Axis Line Display Figure 120: Axis Line in Close Up
Release the mouse when the preview is lined up with the green axis line as in Figure 121.Figure 121: Preview Lined Up
Results
The arc is removed as in Figure 122.
A grip point has replaced the arc.
The bundle length has not been changed.
