Capital Logic Designer User Guide — Chapter List

This is a very large document (~750 topics). Rather than extracting every leaf topic, this note captures the top-level chapter structure for breadth. See overview.md and introduction.md in this same folder for the fully-extracted opening chapter.

Top-level chapters:

  1. Overview — introduction, licensing/access rights, launching the app, launching Capital Component Manager / Capital Symbol Designer from within it, test-drive videos, extensibility plugins.
  2. Projects and Designs — Projects (using projects, project preferences, connectivity reporting), Designs (using designs, design abstractions, editing design info, applicable options, synchronizing designs, design rule checks, releasing a design, multi-user access), Design-Wide Objects, Scopes, Build Lists, comparing objects/design revisions, refreshing external data, Functional Module Codes, Options and Option Relationships, Engineering Change Orders, Shared Objects (overview, viewing usage, freeze/unfreeze, revisions, swapping, demoting, deleting unused), Batch Sharing, Shared Objects and Domains, Cross-References on Objects or Pins.
  3. Diagrams — using diagrams, filtering displayed objects, style sets, diagram language translation, diagram list/device list tables, ANSI Ladder Diagrams, partitioning a Capital Schematic Generator wiring diagram, common edit actions (cut/paste, moving to grid, selecting objects), Diagram Sectors.
  4. Devices and Connectors — devices, connectors, and related editing tasks (large chapter; not enumerated here).
  5. Interface Control Documents — ICD authoring/sync topics.
  6. Pins — pin management topics.
  7. Conductors — conductor/net authoring topics.
  8. Design Hierarchy and System Block Designs — hierarchical/system-block design topics.
  9. Symbols — symbol usage topics.
  10. Printing — print-related topics.
  11. Reports — reporting topics.
  12. Graphics — graphics/drawing topics.
  13. Layout — diagram/page layout topics.
  14. Modifying Objects — bulk/individual object modification topics.
  15. Rules and Constraints — design rule and constraint topics.
  16. Smart Flows — guided/automated design-flow topics.
  17. Application Interface — UI reference (menus, panes, toolbars).

Each numbered chapter above expands into many leaf topics (the doc totals roughly 750 individual pages) — use the Support Center catalog or the doc's own left-nav to drill into a specific procedure if needed.
