Displaying Object Attributes
You can display and evaluate the attributes of objects in NX, and identify the cables passing through segments and nodes or connected to devices.
This video demonstrates the tasks to display the attributes and routed cables:
Prerequisites
- Load the nodal network and 3D assembly associated with the project in the 3D visualization window.
Procedure
Determine the action you want to take:
| If you want to… | Do the following… |

| Display the object attributes. | From NX, select one or more of the following objects and then right-click and select Properties: Segment Node Device The Line Properties dialog box is displayed in one of the following interaction methods: Traditional — List the attributes of a single selected object or the first object from a bulk list if switching to Traditional method. Bulk Edit — Lists the selected objects and the attributes for each object in a separate row. The nodal element attributes are generated from Capital Cable Router and the values are read‑only. (Optional) Click the Interaction Method dropdown list and select Traditional or Bulk Edit to switch between methods. |
| Identify the cables passing through segments and nodes or connected to devices. | From NX, select one of the following objects and then right-click and select Show Cable Information: Segment Node Device The cables associated with the object are identified and the attributes of each cable are listed in the Information dialog box. The cable attributes are generated from Capital Cable Router and the values are read‑only. |
