Overbraid Dialog Box

To access: Press the space bar and enter Add Overbraid, and then select Home > Overbraid > Add Overbraid from the Search Ribbon dropdown list.

Used to create non-shared overbraids and to add / remove conductors from a non-shared overbraid.

Objects

Field	Description
Available Conductors	Lists the nets, wires, multicores and overbraids that you can add to an overbraid in the Overbraids list. A conductor can belong to only one multicore or overbraid at a time. Conductors that have already been added to a multicore or overbraid are not displayed in the list. However, if you create a new multicore or overbraid, it will display in the Available Conductors list the next time you access the dialog box. Note You cannot add shared conductors to a non-shared multicore. You cannot add multicores that do not have any inner cores to an overbraid.
Overbraids	Lists the non-shared overbraids that have been added to the design or that have just been created in the Edit Overbraid Dialog Box. The conductors in the overbraid, and its indicators, are shown as child nodes of the overbraid.
Add an Overbraid ()	Click to open the Edit Overbraid dialog box to add an overbraid to a design.
Edit ()	Only available when an overbraid is selected in the Overbraids list. Click to open the Edit Overbraid dialog box to edit the name of the overbraid that is selected in the Overbraids list or to change its indicators type.
Delete ()	Only available when an overbraid is selected in the Overbraids list. Click to delete the overbraid that is selected in the Overbraids list.
Add ()	Only available when an overbraid is selected in the Overbraids list and a conductor is selected in the Avaialable Conductors list. Click to add the conductor that is selected in the Available Conductors list to the overbraid that is selected in the Overbraids list.
Remove ()	Only available when an inner core that has already been added to the design is selected in the Overbraids list tree. Click to remove the conductor that is selected in the Overbraids list from the overbraid that is currently in.
