of Device Connectors

Device connector graphics are generated in a layer between the device and the device’s pins. The following examples highlight some cases to consider when changing the layering order (z-order) of device connectors.

Change the Layering Order of Other Device Connectors

In the following example, the device connector J1 is obscured when Send to Back is applied to device connector J2. This is because the Send to Back action on J2 is achieved by bringing forward the device which J2 overlaps (DEV1), hiding all the device connectors that overlap DEV1.

In the following example, the device connector J1 is obscured when Send to Back is applied to harness connector P1. This is because the Send to Back action on P1is achieved by bringing forward the device DEV1, hiding all the device connectors that overlap DEV1.
