User Defined Wire Specification and Material Codes

You can configure the clientprops.xml file in your Capital software installation to add wire specification and material codes which are not available in Capital Component Manager.

Note

If the setting to permit values outside the Library range is selected, the existing values must be added to the Library codes when changing to enforce values from the Library. See “Codes” in the Capital Component Manager User Guide.

No - means users can manually enter values outside the range specified in Capital Component Manager

Yes - means values entered in these fields have to exist in the corresponding library tables:

Material  - Material Codes
Specification - Wire Sizes

Note: If changing from Yes to No, existing values need to be added to the Library -->
