Free Rotation

of Graphical Shapes and Objects

You can freely rotate primitive graphical shapes, and objects around their center point by a pre-defined major, or minor rotation increment.

Note

Tables, Electrical Connectivity Objects and Electrical Symbols do not have free rotation enabled.

Procedure

  1. Select one or more objects that you want to rotate.

  2. Either:Press CTRL+> to rotate the object clockwise by a major increment. Press Ctrl+< to rotate counter-clockwise. For finer grained control, press CTRL+Shift+> to rotate the object clockwise by a minor increment. Press Ctrl+Shift+< to rotate counter-clockwise.

Press CTRL and move the clickable scroll wheel on your mouse forwards, or backwards to rotate the object clockwise or counter-clockwise by a major increment. For finer grained control press CTRL+Shift, and then move the clickable scroll wheel on your mouse forwards or backwards, to rotate the object clockwise or counter-clockwise by a minor increment.

  1. The objects rotate at a pre-defined degree increment around their center point.
