Deletion Policy for Personally Identifiable Information in User Accounts

In order to use the Capital software suite, every user must have their own unique user account. A typical user account contains uniquely identifiable properties such as Login Name and password, as well as optional personalized user account details, such as an associated email or profile picture. These properties are used to access Capital applications and core functionality, and at times, identify a user’s actions within the Capital software suite.

The following topics detail when and why a user account property might be stored within Capital and the associated deletion policy for that data.

  • Login Name Deletion Policies

  • Email Address Deletion Policies

  • Profile Picture Deletion Policies

  • Full Name Deletion Policies

  • Machine Name Deletion Policies

  • Anonymizing Personally Identifiable Information for Deleted User Accounts
