Option in Pro Product Plan
An option is a code representing a feature or capability in a vehicle. Examples are ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) or DDL (Driver Door Lock).
You must use standard Capital Systems Integrator functionality to create options in a project, specify their inclusive and exclusive relationships, and specify option configurations. See Option.
Options can be default or optional in a vehicle model.
An optional option is available for order.
A default option is present on the base vehicle. However, you can remove or replace it based on the ordered options and packages. For example, a Low-line radio option may be default. The package for High-line radio may consist of the High-line radio option, plus a deletion of the Low-line radio. That way, when a customer orders a High-line radio, the package removes the default Low-line radio and replaces it with the High-line radio
