Select Part Dialog Box

To access: Click the Edit () button displayed in any of the cavity rows in the Cavity Details Table fields of the Cavity Component Management Dialog Box. Alternatively, click the Specify Terminal/Seal/Plug () button in the Cavity Component Management Dialog Box toolbar.

Used to select one or more components from a connector’s housing definition to manually override a part selection in the Cavity Component Management dialog box.

Objects

Field	Description
Housing Definitions Grid	Matching Wire Specifications Lists all of the components in the connector’s housing definition of a type suitable for selection in the field from which the dialog box was opened. For example, if the dialog was opened from the Terminal field, all matching terminals in the housing definition are listed. Non-Matching Wire Specifications Lists all the components that are in the connectors housing definition but do not match the specification of the wire in the selected cavity and are not suitable for selection. To select one or more components, select the required row, and then click OK.
Add	Opens the Part Selection Dialog Box where you can search for a component that is not part of the connector’s housing definition. When you select a part, it is listed in the Non-Matching Wire Specifications list. In the case of terminals, the terminals matching the T/Mat Driver material are listed before non-matching terminals. In either case, terminals are listed first in Factor order, and then alphanumerically.

Housing Definitions Grid
