Defining a Datum Node

You can specify an existing node as the datum for a diagram.

Prerequisites

At least one node must exist within the design to enable its selection as the datum.

Press Space Bar and enter Define Datum Node. The Select Datum Node Dialog Box is displayed.
Select a node from the list of structure nodes offered.
Click OK.Note By default, a datum node is identical in appearance to non-datum structure nodes, but you can use styling to conditionally display a symbol or textual decoration to signify its status as the diagram datum. See also the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide.
