In Common

The What’s In Common artifact is offered for selection from the list of available package options, and when generated appears in the Navigation panel, allowing the technician to produce a list of “What’s In Common” among the selected fault codes.

Once What’s In Common is complete a comparison is done and a list of common objects is displayed providing a starting point for troubleshooting. From here the technician can generate a diagram containing all the selected fault codes and objects that appear in the What’s In Common results table.

When creating the list of objects, the "intersection" of objects with fault codes is returned. However, when the diagram is generated, the "union" of objects with the supplied fault codes is displayed.

If a VIN number was active the wiring is filtered to a specific vehicle configuration. The technician can dig deeper to find further details such as object information, connector details or any other resource packages linked to the selected objects.
