Create Shared Device Dialog Box

To access: Right-click a device symbol in the Symbol Browser and select Create Shared Device.

Used to create a new shared object using a device symbol or to associate a device symbol with a shared device.

Note

When you create a shared object using this dialog box no instances of the shared object are created automatically. Once the shared object definition has been created you can add instances of the shared object manually. See Adding an Instance of a Shared Device or Connector as a Parameterized Object or Adding an Instance of a Shared Device as a Symbol.
