Removing Pins From a Stack
You can remove pins from a stack of pins.

This video demonstrates how to create a stacked pin and how to remove pins from a stacked pin:
Procedure
- To open the Edit Stack Dialog Box:Select the stacked pin, press the space bar and enter Edit Stack.
Right-click the stacked pin and select Edit Stack.
- In the Select Pins table, select or multi‑select the pins to remove from the stack. If you choose to un-stack pins and place them individually, they will display in the order selected in the table:To delete the pins, click Delete. Skip the remaining steps in this procedure.
To un-stack pins, choose to place pins Individually or As Group, and then click Un‑Stack.
If you chose to delete pins, they are removed from the stack and deleted from the design. Skip the remaining steps in this procedure.
If you chose to un-stack pins:
The cursor changes to .
Circles indicate locations on the object where you can place the pins, and dotted gray lines / boxes indicate locations outside the object where you can place the pins.
If you are placing pins individually, hover over the location to place a pin. If you are placing pins as a group, hover over the location to place the first pin of the group. The cursor changes to .
Click to place the pins.
If you are placing multiple pins individually, repeat Steps 4 and 5.
Results
Deleted pins are no longer visible anywhere.
Un-stacked pins are now visible on the object.
If conductors are connected to the un-stacked pins, they maintain their connectivity. They are removed from the highway interfacing with the stacked pin and are connected to the now visible pins.
