Specifying the Slot Type

For each slot in a Capital Wiring Integrator design, you can specify a slot type: equipment, ground, or junction box.

Caution

The slot type cannot be changed after devices have been placed in the slot.

Procedure

Right-click and select Properties.

Double-click the slot in the Diagram window.

The Edit Properties: Slot Dialog Box is displayed.

Specify the type in the Slot Type field:Equipment — Indicates that the slot will contain normal devices.

Ground — Indicates that the slot will contain ground devices.

Junction Box — Indicates that signals can be routed through this slot.
