Converting

an Inline Half Type

You can convert (switch) an inline receptacle to an inline plug and vice versa.

Procedure

Select the inline half in the Diagram Window or Design Browser (Design tab).
Either:Right-click the inline half and choose Toggle Inline Type.

Press Space Bar and enter Toggle Inline Type.

The inline half type changes.Note If the inline half is connected to another inline half, the type for the other inline half changes too. In addition, the names of the two connectors are swapped.

                 If the 'Align the inline Signal Map tables with the orientation of the
                     inline connector' project preference is selected and you toggle the
                     inline type of a specialized inline connector, the Signal Map tables do
                     not swap the order of the specialized connectors, only the generalized
                     connectors.
