Deleting a Wire

You can remove a wire from a harness design. It is not possible to delete a wire that has been assigned as an inner core of a multicore.

Procedure

1. Select a wire in the Harness Design Browser, and then either:Press Space Bar and enter Delete.

Right-click the wire and select Delete.

Press the Delete key. Note Depending on Behavior settings specified at the Project level, you may be prohibited from deleting certain object attributes and properties. These are displayed as read‑only.

2. The wire is removed from the Harness Design browser, any cavity tables at which it was placed and from the harness wire table.Note Wires can also be deleted from within the Edit Wires Dialog Box; with a wire selected in the Wires list, click the Delete button, and then click Apply.
