Manually Specifying a Part Number for a Harness Level

You can specify a part number for a harness level. This part number is not used in Capital Component Manager. If you have combined harness levels, you cannot specify a part number for a child harness level.

Procedure

1. With a Capital Systems Integrator diagram open, press Space Bar and enter Harness Level optimization; the Harness Level Optimization Dialog Box displays. The harnesses in the design are listed in the Harness table.

2. Enter the part number in the Part Number column, and click OK.Note The Part Number field in the Edit Properties Dialog Box for the harness level updates with the value entered here. If you change the value in that dialog box again, this column updates also.
