Pre Validation Error During Harness Synchronization

During harness synchronization, the system displays a warning message that synchronization has not completed because of pre validation errors.

Causes

Pre validation errors can be:

  • A library part assigned on pin lists (connectors, splices), wires, and multicores does not exist in the component library. There are two scenarios in which this can occur: When you used constraint to add a part number but the part number does not exist in the library.

When you imported a design from another database and the part number does not exist in the target database.

  • Pin list cavity names do not match with an assigned library part and the number of cavities exceed the number of cavities specified against the part number.

  • A ring terminal part number does not have only one cavity.

  • A multicore structure does not match with an assigned library part innercore definition.

Solution

Create a new revision of the design.
