Connector With Different

Part Numbers

Where a connector exists in both member designs but has a different part number, the system reports this in a message box and offers you a choice of actions.

The choices are:

  • Duplicate: Both connectors will be placed at the same node. Both decorations will be displayed (you can use styling to configure the decoration display. See Styling a Master Connector and Related Connectors topic in the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide). The same Fixture can be used.

  • Force Merge: You can force the process to merge both connectors. This is case if the same fixture can be use for both connectors. Figure 358: Force Merge

  • Place: You can place the whole bundle with the second connector beside the existing one. Figure 359: Place
