Accessing the
Authorize Cable Routes Dialog Box
You can search the project in Capital Cable Router to display only the cables with a route status that is available to approve in the Authorize Cable Routes dialog box.
Note
If you do not search the project before opening the Authorize Cable Routes dialog box, all the cables in the project will be displayed on the tabs based on their current status, which might contain cables that cannot be approved.
Restrictions and Limitations
You cannot open the Authorize Cable Routes dialog box if other users have accessed the dialog box in the same project. A message is displayed to identify which user is approving and releasing cables in the project.
The CCRS.AUTH user role must be assigned to your user account in Capital Cable Router Admin to display the Authorize Cable Routes icon (). See Assigning the CCRS.AUTH User Role.
Prerequisites
- Select a project containing completed / partially completed cable routes in Capital Cable Router.
Procedure
From the Cables tab in the Search pane, click the Status dropdown list and select DRCNA (Design Route Complete, Route Not Approved).
Click Search.The available cable routes in the project are listed in the Search pane. See also Locking Design Objects for Editing.
Click the Authorize Cable Route icon ().The appropriate tab in the Authorize Cable Routes dialog box is displayed, based on the status of the cable routes in the project.
