Disconnecting

and Moving a Signal End from a Port

This topic details how to use the Move End action to disconnect a signal end from a port and place the end either at another port or in free space.

Procedure

1. Click on the signal near the end to be moved and either:right-click and select Move End

press Space Bar and enter Move End

The mouse cursor changes appearance.

2. Click on the port or free space where you want to place the signal end.

Results

• The signal end is disconnected from the original port.

• If you place the signal end on a new port, it is connected.

• If Auto Routing is used, the signal is re-routed.
