Fixture Placement Nodes

You can configure this constraint to automatically place a fixture at structure, reference or all nodes.

Usage

Place Fixture on Structure Nodes matching Name = .* and with part number = Part Number using datum

Arguments

Node Type (Default is Structure Node)

This argument allows you to specify the node type at which the fixture will be placed. To place fixtures on junction nodes see Fixture Placement Bundle Junction. Click to display a popup menu to choose from the possible values: All Nodes

Examples

This video shows an example configuration of this constraint to conditionally place fixtures at multi-location node components (MLCs). It uses the plugin query “Belonging to an MLC”, which checks if a node belongs to an MLC.
