Adding a Highway
You can add (create) a new highway on a diagram.
Procedure
Press the space bar and enter Highway.
Position the cursor over the grid point to place the first end of the highway. Note If you place it on an existing highway, a connection is made automatically and the added segments become part of the existing highway.
Click and drag to define highway segments.Tip You can drag the line, click once, and then drag the line in a new direction to define segments on a highway.
Position the cursor over the grid point to place the other end of the highway and double‑click.Note If you place it on an existing highway, a connection is made automatically and the added segments become part of the existing highway.
Results
If the highway is not attached to an existing highway, a new highway is added to the Design Browser.
If the new highways segments are attached to an existing highway, they become part of the existing highway. No new highway is created.
