Accessing the Component Library

You can access the component library in Capital Devices and use the functionality to either create, or modify devices.

Procedure

1. Click the icon to access the library of components.

A panel is displayed showing a list of, up to, the twenty-five most recently modified devices on its left hand side, with the specific component details and codes on the right.

Tip: The currently selected device is highlighted in a darker shading as shown in Figure 1.

The list of available devices can be filtered by entering text in the white box at the top of the window and selecting from the returned list of up to thirty results.

Two further options exist depending on whether you wish to create a new device or modify an existing one.

• Click the create icon to create a new device.
• Click the edit icon to edit an existing device's details.
