Type a name, or click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field to select from a list of pre-specified multi-location component names maintained in the project’s Object Type Information in Capital Project Manager. If this field is left blank, the component is named according to any default names configured for the project in Capital Project Manager. Optional.
Select Locations Use these options to specify the wires, and wire ends, at which the multi-location component is placed. Wire Name Specifies the wire upon which the multi-location component is placed. Click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field, and the Select Wire Dialog Box offers a list of every wire on the design; select a wire and click OK. The Part Selection Dialog Box is displayed to search for and insert a multi-location component from the library. You can view details for the associated part by clicking the button. The associated part can be removed by clicking the button. Optional. If a library part is selected, all attributes for which values can be specified against the library part are completed and set to read-only.
BOM ID Specifies a unique identifier to be displayed against the multi-location component in both the Composite BOM Table and in bill of material reports generated from Capital Reporter. This attribute is only available when a library part is assigned. Optional. BOM IDs can be automatically prefixed in tables and reports based on project preferences you have configured.
