Converting

a Full Scale Bundle to a Flex Bundle

You can convert bundles from full scale to flex. This enables them to be easily stretched or compressed to a new graphical length. This is helpful when you need to quickly change the bundle layout on a full scale diagram, or when connecting bundle ends. Flex bundles have a tool tip which displays both the graphical and physical length of the bundle.

Procedure

Select the bundle to be converted and either:

Right-click and select Convert to Flex Bundle from the context menu.
Press Space Bar and enter Bundle Palette; the Bundle Palette Dialog Box is displayed. Click Convert to Flex Bundle ().

Results

The selected bundles change to flex so they can be easily stretched or compressed to a new graphical length. This is helpful when you need to quickly change the bundle layout on a full scale diagram, or when connecting bundle ends. In this setting a tool tip will display both the graphical and physical length of the bundle.
