Assigning

and Editing License Policies on a User Account

You can assign and edit license policies for a user account.

Restriction

For Capital X deployments, license policy functionality is not supported.

Prerequisites

  • To assign or edit license policies you must have the appropriate License Policy permissions assigned to your role or user account. See License Policy User Permissions for more information.

  • Open the Edit User Account Dialog Box. See Edit User Account Dialog Box. Figure 22: User Account License Policy Tab

Procedure

  1. On the License Policy tab, select the license policies that you want to assign to the user account in the Available box and click the Add button. Alternatively, you can click the Add All button to assign all policies to the Selected box.Note You can unassign a policy by selecting it in the Selected box and clicking the Remove button. Alternatively, you can unassign all policies in the Selected box by clicking the Remove All button.

  2. If you do not wish to create or edit the options on the other tabs, click the OK button to save the policies and leave the Edit User Account dialog or, click the Apply button to save the policies and keep the dialog open.
